Last Tuesday we experienced our first ice storm. I have heard a lot about them since we moved here but we hadn't actually seen one. It just looks like a really heavy rain storm but when it stops everything is covered in a layer of ice. Don't be fooled by the picture, the ice covering after an ice storm is a solid sheet. Besides the fact that it's extremely dangerous it's totally amazing!

What?!?! You have a blog? Yay! Now I can see what you're up to since I hardly see you even though we live in the same city! It was so fun reading about your Christmas break and seeing all the pictures. It looks like so much fun!!

One of the great fears of my life--knowing you are in an ice storm!!!! Stay home and lock the doors and just look at it.
