hello again -

i can't believe it's been over 2 months since i last posted...time really does fly. well there are some events to catch up on and a few changes. first, i have decided to go back to school...again. for what i haven't exactly decided, but i'm excited to get back in the classroom. i will be starting in january for the winter semester. second, i quit my job at the hospital. originally the plan was to quit in december right before i started school but once i got the idea in my head i couldn't contain the excitement and put in my two weeks the very next morning. after the thrill of quitting subsided i was struck with panic as i thought, "i just quit my job, i'm jobless", but luckily panic was replaced by a wonderfully restful feeling as i thought, "that's right baby, i'm jobless - woo hoo". so from now until january i have the unique opportunity of taking a break. i have no plans, no real jobs, no kids, just me:). it's like getting a do over of summer break when you are a kid, but now i have a mature appreciation of how valuable a break really is. joe has lovingly nick named it "100 days of marie", i really appreciate him nudging me to do this and then fully supporting me when i decided to actually do it. so i'm now on day 10 of "100 days of marie" and it's better than great, i feel lucky, lucky, lucky:).
