Yesterday was Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. Except for the fact that Joe and I couldn't spend it with our families in Utah we had a wonderful day of cooking, laughing and just being together. It was the first Thanksgiving meal that we cooked entirely on our own without help from "mom" and we both agreed that it was some of the best food we had ever had (not that your cooking isn't amazing mom's)...we were very proud.
Before we start our cooking adventure.
Making stuffing.
Approving of stuffing.
Peeling potatoes is serious business.

I love you baby! Good job on the blog.
Hey Marie and Joe. I'm loving the blog! It is SO good to see you guys and hear some of the things you are up to and thinking. Joe's face in the stuffing picture is priceless. I love you and miss you guys and can't wait to see you!
Oh and P.S. your apartment looks really cute! :)
Perfect turkey!!! I am so very proud and pleased that you made your turkey dinner. Traditions of this sort will go on and on-----I've not been able to get into my head about people who go to restaurants; not that they are bad. At home work seems to add to the appreciation and deliciousness. My first Thanksgiving dinners always had something not turn out. It took me a while to get the timing and the recipes correct. One day, we'll all be coming to your house.
One more thing: Joseph has always been serious about doing things right. Hence, the importance of peeling potatoes correctly.
sweet... looks great!!! see you sooooooon!!!
